Since I'm going to spend the next week focusing on yard sale and flea market items, I thought it would be fitting to point out some great-looking books about shopping for, crafting with, buying, and decorating with flea market treasures.

I love what the Better Homes & Gardens book, Flea Market Decorating, has to offer. It supplies some great information, including what to wear and bring when flea market-ing, as well as a listing of some of the most popular flea markets around the country. The book is filled with great ideas, creative ways to use antiques and other flea market finds, and some crafts that can be created with them.

How to Decorate and Furnish Your Apartment on a Budget, by Lourdes Dumke, gives allows you to plan for a day of flea marketing. From planning to budget to room-by-room organizing and storage, there are some great tips to be found--and not just for apartments.

There are others that have great tips and ideas as well, such as Recycled Home by Mark and Sally Bailey, and Flea Market Style by Emily Chalmers.
