More flea market or yard sale finds used for adorable accents–this time as flower receptacles. Old sugar, salt and pepper shakers and a toothbrush holder and soap dish are just perfect for holding a few freshly cut blossoms from the garden. Line your window sill with fresh garden sprigs in small "vases" or use in a bathroom for a burst of color and touch of nature.

Do you have a couple of chairs that aren't in the greatest shape any more? Have you found some interesting chairs at a yard sale? Here's a really neat way to put some old chairs to use. Of course, your animals would have to be of a certain size to be able to actually use these food/water bowls.

I like this idea because it gives some character to the pet's bowls. Rather than have them on the floor where they are constantly stepped on/in or knocked over, make them a part of the decor.

Can you guess what this item was before it became a jewelry holder/organizer? It was a gun rack. I didn't realize there was such a thing. But there is... just look...

This was a yard sale find that was painted and re-purposed into a functional piece that holds quite a bit of jewelry. Who would have known?!

Do you have some antique jewelry that you love but don't feel comfortable wearing? Here are some great ways to use beautiful pieces from antique stores, estate sales, or even your own jewelry chest!

A handy bathroom magazine rack and toilet paper holder are made with some old garden fencing and a gardening tool. You may even be able to find these items in your own garage or shed!

The weathered look gives the piece some character, or you can sand and paint them so that it looks like new. This could also work in a country kitchen to hold cookbooks or your phone book. Or even in your garden shed to hold some gardening books, packets of seeds, or manuals to your outdoor machinery.

An old wagon can be a great decorative addition to a garden, or even hold a little garden itself. A wagon filled with a bunch of small pots of perennials can add some life to an area that needs a little color and texture... perhaps on a patio or deck, or even by the front door holding a little welcome sign.

How's this for an adorable garden caddy? Keep your eyes open as you drive down the road. Spring cleaning time is here and there is bound to be lots of "goodies" thrown to the curb as we all go through our homes and give it a good cleaning. It's not quite warm enough for yard sales in my neck of the woods, so many people are likely to toss items right now rather than put them aside for yard sale season. There are treasures to be found!
